Live Chess Rating Observations

Image
Arjun Erigaisi won a couple of points in the German Bundesliga and moved to his highest live rating of 2756.3, which also makes him the India no. 1 for the moment. We've already noticed that the India No. 1 title is up for grabs because four of the Indian players (Pragg, Vishy, Gukesh) are rated quite close to each other. Arjun has moved up five places this month and he is currently placed at World no. 9. He can easily overtake Wesley So, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Alireza Firouzja, and Ding Liren. Even Nodirbek Abdusattorov is not too far ahead. Anish Giri has dropped several points this month and is placed No. 15 in the world, which is quite a slip for the classy Giri. The biggest moves will come in the candidates.  Yes, these guys are at unbelievable rating levels. But the good news is that you too can at least strive to get your first initial FIDE Chess rating.
