Here are some of the Results of the two events. (Please see the Corsica - Kasparov Simul results at the end of this post)
Cap d'Agde Initial Results
Caruana is turning out to be the star of this tournament (considering the others are already stars!)
Cheparinov, Caruana and Vachier Lagrave are favorites to advance. Ivanchuk has to fight to stay in the race for the Quarterfinal race. In group B, favorites Carlsen and Radjabov are coasting along with dominating performances.
The critical game between Carlsen and Radjabov has started (28th Oct evening)
Karpov is playing against Koneru Humpy, who had beaten him some time back, so he has a chance to take revenge.

In the first round, Caruana caused a minor upset beating Xiangzhi. Karpov was held to a draw by teenage sensation Hou Yifan, Vachier Lagrave drew with Ivanchuk. Earlier, Vachier Lagrave easily beat the fresh World Women's champion, Kosteniuk.
In the third round, Xiangzhi bounced back beating the mighty Ivanchuk, while Caruana continued his fine run beating Kosteniuk. In this round, Sebag tenaciously held Vachier Lagrave. The third rounds of Group B will be played in a short while from now. One of the highlights of the round is the clash of "Johnny come lately to the 2700 club" Nakamura with Super Strong kid Carlsen.

Breaking News - Nakamura pulled out one of his tricks on Carlsen. Carlsen fell for a trap after grabbing a pawn and is now in a losing position. It remains to be seen if Nakamura can finish it off smoothly. Oops, Nakamura almost blew it. He had an extra pawn with connected passers on the Queen side. Even now, he leads but the chances of winning are lesser.
The latest - Nakamura - Carlsen drawn after 57 moves. Although Starwars Naka had connected passers on the a file, Carlsen was threatening to Queen his own pawn that was advanced. Draw agreed.
The highlight of the seventh round in Group B is Karpov vs Nakamura.
Update: Nakamura beat Karpov with the black pieces in 53 moves. Naka sprang the Dutch Leningrad on old Karpov. He then played an atypical technical game, ground down Karpov, won two pawns. Did Karpov blunder his Rook on the last move? He was lost by then anyway.

The players are Gregory Bicchierai, Antoine Cristofari, Mickael Massoni, Cyril Humeau, and Akkhavanh Vilaisarn. Only Vilaisarn is putting up a fight, the others seem to be in lost positions already by moves 15-25 (different games)
Update: All is well and Kasparov has beaten all of them (1-0). Vilaisarn overlooked a mate in 2 after offering stiff resistance for over 20 moves. The others seem to have resigned early.
