Gelfand holds Anand again, holding on dangerously

Challenger Boris Gelfand drew with the black pieces against Anand again in the 10th game of the World Championship match. With only two more normal time games to go, Gelfand is now definitely considered to have equal chances in the match. Only if the match goes into a tie-break, most consider Anand to be the favorite since he plays more quickly.

The most stunning fact of Game 10 was that Gelfand was able to face an off-beat variation in the Sicilian Defence without even batting an eyelid. His preparation seems to be of the highest order since Anand has not been able to threaten him except in Game 8.
