Live Chess Ratings in the limelight

Live Chess rating lists are rapidly coming into focus. Chess fans and players the world over are not patient enough to wait for the ratings lists published at the end of every three months. Also, there have been several uncertainities and controversies over whether a particular tournament will be rated or not. When the ratings are live, this question does not arise.
