The 2nd Ekam All India Rapid rating Chess tournament will be held at Dawkhar Lawns, Gondhawani, Puntamba Road, Shrirampur 413709, Dist- Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The tournament runs from 24th November to 2nd December.

The 1st Ekam All India Blitz Rating Chess tournament will be held at the same venue from 25th November to 2nd December.

Roustam Kamsky resurfaces

Roustam (Rustam?) Kamsky, the father of the World Cup Champion 2007, Gata Kamsky has reappeared on the chess scene. In a letter appealing for "moral and financial support" from the US federation and the mayor of New York, Bloomberg, Kamsky has written a long letter justifying the actions that the Kamskys took right from the days of the Soviet Union to his defection, quitting chess and playing again.
