Dresden breaks Chess Olympiad Record

The Dresden Chess Olympiad has attracted the highest number of participants ever.

As on the last day of registration, there are more than 2000 individuals of various designations including players, of course. Also, the number of federations participating is 152, which is also a record.

156 teams participate in the Open team event and 119 in the Women's section.
